Meet Omari, a nine-year-old boy and student at Mango Tree Primary School under the Motoskate Foundation scholarship program. Omari was born in Uvira.

When he was just one year old, he lost both of his parents in a tragic house fire that also claimed the lives of four of his siblings. He was inside the house at the time, but people from outside managed to break in and rescue him. Unfortunately, they were unable to save his parents and other siblings.

After the tragedy, life became extremely difficult. He was left under the care of his older brother and sisters, who did not have the financial means to support him properly. His brother, who was unemployed, struggled to provide for all the children’s needs.

Despite these hardships, God made a way for Omari. When he reached school age, he had the opportunity to join the Motoskate scholarship program. Although he has been through many challenges, he is now receiving the education he needs. He is doing well in school and enjoys his time at Mango Tree Primary School.

The work of the Motoskate Foundation is transforming lives and bringing hope to many children in the community who once had none. Omari, who had no one to support his education after losing his parents, is now able to study like other children from wealthier families. Thanks to Motoskate, his future is being shaped with hope and opportunity. May God bless the foundation for the incredible work it is doing.
